We do a lot with our friends Nathan and Denise. Denise and I were college roommates and were in the same major. We were together ALL the time in the same classes and we did homework together. We liked to think that we both shared a brain. Anyway, we even had kids 6 weeks a part. It's perfect because we can get together and do things and our kids love to hang out with each other. Kailey and Grant (Buddy) have been friends ever since they were born. They like to do lots of things together especially play in the water. Kailey loves buddy so much that she even prays for him in her prayers. Won't it be cute if they get married and we have all of these pictures of them together when they are young?
Buddy even likes to wear Kailey's pj's on occasion. (As you can see above)
Kailey and Buddy strolling along in the mountains together. You should have seen their faces and hands before we took them home. Buddy likes to throw dirt, so he was completely covered.
We went to Bear Lake and the kids loved it! They didn't stop running around. We were lucky to get this picture of both of them sitting for 1 second.
Thanks Nathan, Denise and Grant for being such great friends!

Daily Happenings
She loves to wear Trev's hats. She only likes them on backwards though, probably because she can see better. If you look close, you can see that she has my shoes on too! What a goof ball!

It's Been a While
I know I haven't posted for a while, but its summer and I spend most of my free time outside. Plus the fact that I have a 2 year old that LOVES being outside and I can't drag her inside without her screaming. Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to lately. Here is a picture of Kailey posing in the bathroom after I did her hair. She knows when she is cute!
I spoke at the Relay for Life the end of June. It was really a neat experience to see all of the cancer survivors and be able to give people HOPE! I walked the first lap of the track with my dad and grandpa who are also cancer SURVIVORS.
We celebrated Kailey's birthday the first part of July. She loves bugs so I had to make her a bug cake. And she actually blew out her candles herself! We celebrated her birthday twice and here is a picture of her eating her birthday cake at Grandma's.
This is a typical picture of Kailey. When I want to get something done in the kitchen, all I have to do is put her in the sink and let her play with the water and she will be content for hours!

Kailey & Water
We have been fishing two times in the last week and we have managed to have Kailey fall in the water BOTH times. The second fishing trip, we weren't even there 3 seconds, and she already found the water. As you can see, her pants are soaking wet, but she obviously didn't care. She was still as happy as can be!
We stripped her down to her diaper because we didn't have any other clothes. When we got home, she escaped out onto the driveway and found MORE water. She is something else I tell ya!
This is another time when we went up in the mountains and of course she ended up in the water. We just took her pants off and let her play all evening long! She loved it!

Sunday Drive
We took a Sunday drive up to see a waterfall. It was so pretty and Kailey loved running around in the mountains! It's always good to get out and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Planting Our Garden
Kailey loved to help Trev plant our garden. We planted red and yellow onions, carrots, corn, tomatoes, red potatoes, and radishes. We can't wait until we can eat what we planted!
